Cause:
Galaxy 3500, Smart-UPS VT and AIS3000 Power Factor Information

Resolution:
"The SUVT and the AIS3000 have an Input Power Factor Correction Module which corrects the Power Factor on the input of the unit. The Input Power Factor is 1. There is no phase shift between voltage and current on the input, which minimizes the installation costs by enabling the use of smaller size cabling.

The Output Power Factor is 0.8 - what means that, for example, a 10KVA unit can provide a maximum total load of 8KW. This means there is a difference of 20% between real and apparent power.
